I recently had an excellent experience with Jim Erickson and R3 Homes. Water leaking from the unit above damaged my condo in Bend. I originally hired Jim as my local expert overseeing the mitigation and restoration contractors. The mitigation work was fine, but as I considered the restoration contractor, I felt more comfortable having Jim's company, R3, do the work. They seemed more dedicated and thorough, and most importantly, I felt they would strive to get the repairs done as quickly as possible (this is income property). Jim and R3 dove into the project quickly, with a high degree of professionalism and attention to detail. R3 homes is an absolutely amazing contractor to work with. Jim is honest, transparent, and has been very accommodating to help. His staff did amazing work and the entire project was smooth and looks amazing. I couldn't be happier with his work and team. One example of the type of man Jim is, we had a major concern about our shower due to a manufacturer defect on the part. Jim called me back at 10pm before Thanksgiving while sick and on vacation, and got a plumber out within 30 minutes to fix it and save the pipes. R3 Homes did a great job on a remodel project at our second home. This included new/ updated flooring and upgraded bathrooms. The staff at R3 are very customer oriented. They were continually responsive to what we wanted. Whenever there was an issue or a small change, they listened and did what we wanted without question. They have great subcontractors that did a really good job. We also appreciated that R3 continually made suggestions for improvement as they proceeded with the project. For example, they suggested updated smoke alarms, a new bathroom cabinet, and even a new roof when they found a leak in our absence. Overall, we are very happy with the work that R3 completed for us and would recommend them to others in the Bend/ Redmond Oregon area. We used R3 this past summer (2022) for a primary bath remodel. They knocked it out of the park. I was very impressed with Jim's professional demeanor and attentiveness when we had any issue big or small. Jason who was our main "worker" is not only a great craftsman but an overall great guy.
